How fast is your turn-around time?
Our usual production time is 1 week. We process all orders on Monday of each week, which includes anything arriving Monday and it should be ready by Friday of that same week. But if your order comes in after Monday, it will not be ready until the following Friday.

Can you change my Color photo to Black & White?
Yes, we can change it to black & white... at no extra charge.

How much typesetting will you allow on my prints.
Currently, we are set up to print your name and agency logo on space available on your photo. Other options are in the works to provide different styles in the near future.

Do I get my original back?
Yes, we normally keep it with your order for you to pickup. If we are shipping out your order, we do not insure your original or assume any responsibility for loss or damage to your original while in transit.

What is the smallest photo I can send?
Snapshot size, 3"x5", unless we are using only a portion of the image, in which case we might need a larger photo. Call us at 416-691-6019 to tell us the size and area on your photo that you want to use and we can quickly tell you if it will work.

Can you print horizontal (landscape) layouts?
Yes, no problem, also at no extra charge. Normally we will do the picture as it is, landscape or portrait, but on request we can take a portion of a photo and crop and enlarge it to change the orientation.

Can I pay for a rush service?
We cannot rush the process in plant, however, we can arrange special shipping for all or part of your order at cost. The cost is determined by the speed needed and the weight of the product being shipped. Our customer service personnel can calculate this for you quickly if you call us at 416-691-6019, and discuss your needs with them.

Will you ship to another country?
We can ship to anywhere within Canada and continental United States. No plans currently to ship outside North America.

Can you use negatives or slides?
DO NOT SEND NEGATIVES! Slides are OK for color or black & white jobs. The charge for scanning from a slide or transparency is $25.

Will litho prints work for reprint in publications?
Since litho prints are printed and are comprised of microscopic dots, the process of reproducing the picture for a publication will require some minimal extra handling by the publication. This is necessary to avoid a checkered look called a "moire pattern". Virtually all publications now have the ability to "descreen" a litho picture for good reproduction. Although we cannot vouch for the ability of every publication to do this, it should be no problem.

Do you accept digital files?
Yes, we do accept compatible digital files. Please see Submitting Digital Files on this website. It is advisable to avoid doing the scanning yourself unless you are trained in computer graphic art. Our scanners are the top of the line and our expertise is extensive. If you had your photos taken digitally, we prefer to work from a compatible digital file with a laser or digital copy enclosed for layout reference. We will not use the copy to match densities or contrasts. The digital file scan quality and settings will determine densities and contrasts you will receive from us. If you are doing your own photoshop work, you can send us a compatible digital file. Again, if you are not trained to do photoshop we offer expert retouching starting at $25.

Can I email a graphic file to back2one.com?
Yes, you can email your file from our Online Order link to our website. If you need to FTP an order give us a call at 416-691-6019 or email us via our Contact Us form. We will give you the information necessary to send a file to our FTP site. Emailing file attachments should only be used by those who have experience in the graphic arts. We prefer to work from an 8x10 photograph.

What is a Litho Headshot?
Litho headshot are made on a printing press and if you look at them under magnification are made up of little tiny dots. Though they look like photos they do not cost like photos. This is their distinct advantage. They are great when you need high quality images in large quantities. Actors, models and entertainers all over North America use lithos by the thousands, we know because we are printing them.
